Chinedu Wobo
Co-Founder
Chinedu Wobo is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Subsea Horizon Services, where he leads the strategic direction and operational execution of the company. With over 14 years of offshore experience as an ROV specialist, Chinedu brings hands-on expertise and trusted industry insight to the forefront of Guyana’s growing subsea sector.
A natural leader with a deep commitment to excellence, Chinedu holds a Master’s degree in International Business Management from the University of East London and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from Igbinedion University. His leadership is rooted in a clear vision: to build a world-class, indigenous ROV company that not only delivers exceptional service but also empowers Guyanese talent.
Chinedu plays a central role in building strong partnerships, driving innovation, and ensuring Subsea Horizon’s operations meet the highest international standards—while staying true to its mission of local growth and sustainability.
Shane Oliver Jones

Shane Oliver Jones
Co-Founder
Shane Oliver Jones is a dedicated businessman and engineer whose career spans over a decade of hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, and industrial engineering. Shane began his journey at just 16, he quickly developed a strong foundation in electrical technologies and offshore ROV systems, from being a GPL trainee to an electrical technologist.
His career spans roles as a power plant operator at the Garden of Eden and Kingston B turbine plants, and participation in major industrial and mining projects across Guyana, including Guyana Manganese Inc., Aurora Gold Mines, and First Bauxite. Shane received a diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 2016 and further his studies in Industrial Engineering in 2020.
He worked globally with leading offshore companies such as C-Innovations and DOF Subsea as an ROV contractor. As an entrepreneur, he heads several ventures including Future Innovation Engineering and Contractors, JSR Electrical and Construction Services, and joint projects with Kale Construction, focused on delivering high-quality engineering solutions while creating employment opportunities and skills development.
